Brehan Cairns

Raised in Invercargill, Brehan began his career on the track and road, competing nationally and earning selection for New Zealand’s development squads. Cycling taught him discipline, focus, and how to perform under pressure, foundations he carried into the workforce. 

He entered the motor trade at 18, progressing from new car sales into leadership roles and later training as Ford Sales Manager across Southland and the Southern Lakes. Those years sharpened his commercial awareness and ability to guide people through significant decisions, a natural transition into real estate. After gaining his license, he spent nearly three years building a strong base in his hometown before joining WHITEFOX. 

Decisive, balanced, and dependable, he brings a direct, transparent approach to the way he works. His clients get clarity, consistency, and a standard that doesn’t waver, he communicates with purpose, offers measured guidance, and follows through with the diligence needed to achieve the best result. 

Now based in Queenstown, an area his family has long been connected to, Brehan brings genuine local insight and a strong understanding of how the Southland and Queenstown Lakes markets work together. In his Associate Director role, he draws on a high-performance foundation shaped by elite sport, senior sales leadership, and proven real estate results. As an experienced auctioneer, he offers vendors a genuine advantage: sharper buyer engagement, real-time negotiation instincts, and presence that elevates the entire campaign.
